Michael Feygin (born  February 1, 1975 in Kharkiv ) is a chess player who played for the chess federation of his native Ukraine until 2005 and has been a member of the German Chess Federation since then .

At the Dortmund Schachtagen 1998 he played in the Open A and finished second behind Dirk Poldauf with Aivars Gipslis and Ludger Keitlinghaus .

In 1995 he became FIDE master , one year later, International Master and in January, 2013 by FIDE to Grand Master appointed. He achieved the grandmaster standards at the European Club Cup 2007 in Antalya , in the Belgian team championship in 2009/10 and in the national chess league in 2011/12 .

Michael Feygin has been playing in the Bundesliga chess league for SV Mülheim-Nord since 2010 , having previously played for SC Gelsenkirchen in the 2000/01 season and for SK Turm Emsdetten in the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons .

In addition, he is active in the Belgian team championship ( Interclubs ) for the KSK Rochade Eupen-Kelmis club , in the Dutch team championship ( Meester class ) he played for the ESGOO Enschede club from 1999 to 2011 and for En Passant Bunschoten-Spakenburg since 2018 .

He took part in the European Club Cup four times with KSK Rochade Eupen-Kelmis and in 2007 achieved the best result on the second board.
