Yuri Ajrapetyan

Jurij Ajrapetjan ( Ukrainian Юрій Рачіковіч Айрапетян Jurij Ratschikowitsch Ajrapetjan ; spelling for the World Chess Federation FIDE : Yuriy Ajrapetjan ; born April 18, 1988 in Yerevan ) is a Ukrainian chess player .

Life

Ajrapetjan graduated with honors from the Vernadskyi National Tauride University . He works as an economist at a Ukrainian bank.

successes

With an Elo rating of 2502, Ajrapetjan is currently in 56th place in the Ukrainian Elo ranking (as of September 2016). Between 2004 and 2007 he won several national tournaments. In February 2005 he was awarded the title of International Master . The title of Grand Master was applied for in December 2007. Since he made the necessary norms at norms tournaments in Alushta (+ 83.70 Elo points), which were taken into account in the evaluation for January 2008, the title was only then awarded to him. He reached his highest Elo rating in July 2009 with 2537.
