Jurij Hryhorowytsch Kryworutschko ( Ukrainian Юрій Григорович Криворучко , born December 19, 1986 in Lviv ) is a Ukrainian chess master .

Life

Kryworutschko learned to play chess at the age of seven, his first coach was Yevgeny Ivanovich Lysenko, later he was coached by Yuri Privalov, his coach has been Vladimir Grabinsky since 2000 . Kryworutschko graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical and Mathematics of the National Ivan Franko University in Lviv in 2008 .

Kryworutschko won or occupied top places in many tournaments: 1st place at the Open Независимость (German independence ) in Lemberg (2003), 3rd place at the Ukrainian U-20 junior championship in Lemberg (2003), 3rd place at the U- 18 European Championship in Urgup (2004), 2nd place at the Ukrainian U-18 Junior Championship in Lviv (2004), 1st – 2nd place. Place at the Open in Olomouc (2005), 1st place at the 2nd Balagne Open in Calvi (2005), 3rd place at the 38th Rubinstein Memorial (2006), 1st place at the GM tournament in Olomouc 2006, 1st place at the Ukrainian U-20 Junior Championship in Lviv (2006), 3rd place at the U-20 World Championship in Yerevan (2006), 9th place at the European Championship in Plovdiv with an Elo performance of 2726, 4th place at Open in Cappelle-la-Grande (2008) with an Elo performance of 2735, 3rd place at the Open in Paleochora (2008), 2nd place at the Open in Reykjavík (2009), 2nd place at the Open in Cappelle-la- Grande (2010) and 1st place at the Open in Paleochora (2010). In June 2013 he won the national championship of Ukraine after fine evaluation before the tied Ruslan Ponomarjow .

Kryvoruchko has held the title of International Master since 2004 , and he achieved the required standards at three tournaments in Lviv between 2002 and 2004. In 2006 he was appointed grandmaster , he had met the required standards in February 2005 at the 21st Open in Cappelle-la-Grande, in July 2006 at the Czech Open in Pardubice and in August 2006 at a grandmaster tournament in Olomouc.

National team

With the Ukrainian national team, Kryvoruchko took part in the 2009 European Team Championships and the 2013 and 2015 World Team Championships.

In the Ukrainian team championship Kryvoruchko played in 2002 for the second team of Carpathia-Galicia Lviv and from 2004 to 2008 for the team of the National Ivan Franko University of Lviv, with the 2006 team champions. In the Polish team championship he played for KSz Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski since 2006 , and he won the Spanish team championship in 2014 with Mérida Patrimonio de la Humanidad .

In the German federal chess league he played from the 2011/12 season to the 2014/15 season for Sportfreunde Katernberg . Kryworutschko has been playing for SC Viernheim since the 2016/17 season , initially in the 2nd Bundesliga and since 2018 in the 1st Bundesliga. In the Czech extra league he has been part of the ŠK Rapid Pardubice since the 2012/13 season , in Hungary Kryworutschko played for DVTK Sport Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság in the 2016/17 and 2018/19 seasons, and in the Swiss National League A in the 2017 season Club d'Echecs de Genève and in the French Top 12 2017 for Grasse Echecs . Kryvoruchko won the Chinese team championship in 2017 with Shanghai Mobile China .
