Aleksander Miśta (born January 7, 1983 in Myszków ) is a Polish chess player .

Life

Miśta studied physics at the Technical University of Gdansk .

He was at the top of many Polish youth championships. So he was first in 1991 at the U10 championship in Wisła , 2000 at the U18 championship in Wisła and 2001 at the U18 championship in Zakopane . He was second in 2000 at the U20 championship in Trzebinia in southern Poland and in 2003 at the U20 championship in Jarnołtówek near Opole . He finished third in 1993 at the U10 championship in Grudziądz , in 1999 at the U16 championship in Nowa Ruda , in 2001 at the U20 championship in Brzeg Dolny and in 2002 at the U20 championship in Trzebinia.

In July 2002 he won the 11th International Festival in Poznan , in August 2003 the 7th International U18 Open in Avilés . In July 2004 he won the GM tournament in Brno , in August 2004 the international tournament in Ostróda , in July 2006 the Tespo Engineering tournament in Brno, in August 2006 the Warmia-Mazury Festival in Ostróda, which he also won in August 2007 could. In July 2008 he was able to win the GM tournament in Brno again.

In Germany he played in the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons on the first board of the SV Griesheim club in the 2nd Bundesliga West , in 2009/10 and 2011/12 in the 2nd Bundesliga South and in 2010/11 in the 1st Bundesliga . In the 2012/13 season he played for SV Wiesbaden in the Bundesliga, from the 2013/14 season to the 2017/18 season for the Schachfreunde Berlin . In the Polish Ekstraliga he played for Ostródzianka Ostróda in 2012 and 2013 , for UKS Rotmistrz Grudziądz in 2015 , for KSz MIEDŹ Legnica in 2016 and 2017 and for Wieża Pęgów in 2019 . In the Czech extra league he played for TŽ Třinec on the first board until 2011 , since 2011 for Slavoj Ostrava-Poruba and in Serbia on the top board of Jelica Goracici . In the French Top 12 he played for Echiquier Guingampais from 2010 to 2012 , and since 2014 he has played for Echecs Montpellier .

Since 2004 he has held the title of chess grandmaster . He achieved the standards for this in 2003 at tournaments in Poland and the Czech Republic. In February 2015 he is tenth on the Polish Elo ranking.

Chess composition

Aleksander Miśta is a member of the Polish national team for solving chess problems . In solving chess problems, he has held the title of Grand Master for Chess Composition of the World Federation for Chess Composition since 2015 . His Elo rating in solving is 2518 (as of July 1, 2012). This puts him in 30th place in the world rankings. His highest to date was 2519.
