Paweł Jaracz (born July 22, 1975 in Kożuchów ) is a Polish chess master .

Jaracz won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 3rd place at the 51st Polish Championship in Gdansk (1994), 3rd place at the tournament in Świdnica (1999) and 1st place at the Open in Lubawka (2008).

He has held the title of Grand Master since 2000 . In the German Chess Bundesliga he played from the 2007/08 season to season 2016/17 for the SG Trier , in the season 2019/20 he plays for the SC Remagen-Sinzig in the 2. Bundesliga West . In the Polish team championship he played for JKS Spartakus Jelenia Góra in 1990 and 1991 , in 1996 for ZPD Technolog Jasień , from 1997 to 2000 for KSz Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski , with whom he became champion in 1997 and 1998 and in 1998 took part in the European Club Cup , 2001 to 2009 for AZS UMCS Lublin and since 2012 for GK Baszta MOS Żnin . Paweł Jaracz also plays in the British Four Nations Chess League for Manx Liberty and has also played in the Belgian Interclubs (for Boey Temse ) and the Czech Extra League (for TJ Zikuda Turnov ). His wife Barbara Jaracz (née Grabarska) is a women's grandmaster (WGM) with the highest rating to date of 2342 in April 2003.
