Mirosław Grabarczyk (born January 3, 1971 in Płock ) is a Polish chess player .

Life

At Polish individual championships he took second place in Częstochowa in 1993 and in Warsaw in 1995 . He was able to win the Polish championship in blitz chess in Głogów in 1994, and in 1993 in Kalisz he took third place. At the Polish championships in rapid chess he came second once (1995 in Łuków ) and three times third (1995 in Kalisz, 1998 in Częstochowa and 2000 in Żnin ). 1997 and 2001 Mirosław Grabarczyk took part with the Polish national team in the European team championship .

In the Polish first division he played in the 1990s first for PTSz Płock , then in the meantime for the club Rymer Niedobczyce , then again for PTSz Płock , with whom he participated in the 2001 European Club Cup . Since 2002 he played for GKS Polfa Grodzisk Mazowiecki , with whom he also participated in the European Club Cup 2003, in 2009 for ASSz Miedź Legnica , from 2012 to 2016 for ŻTMS Baszta Żnin and 2020 for KSz Hetman Płock . In Germany he plays for SV Griesheim , with whom he played mainly in the 2nd Bundesliga West , but also belonged to the 1st Bundesliga for three seasons (2010/11, 2012/13 and 2013/14) . In all these clubs he plays together with his older brother Bogdan (* 1967), who bears the title of International Master .

He has held the title of chess grandmaster since 2002 .
