Serhiy Fedortschuk ( Ukrainian Сергій Федорчук , FIDE designation Sergey Fedorchuk A. * 14. March 1981 ) is a Ukrainian chess player .
Life
Even as a teenager he achieved numerous national and international successes, in 1995 he won the European Youth Championship in the U14 age group. He has held the title of Grand Master since 2002 . With his 14th place at the European Championships in Budva 2009 Fedorschuk qualified for the 2009 World Chess Cup , and in 2013 he again took part in the World Chess Cup .
His best position on the FIDE world rankings was 51st in April 2008.
Team chess
Fedorschuk was first appointed to the Ukrainian national team for the 2013 European Chess Championship in Warsaw . In the German federal chess league he played for SC Remagen from 2006 to 2012 , and Fedorschuk has been playing for SC Viernheim since 2014 (initially in the 2nd Bundesliga , since 2018 in the 1st Bundesliga). In the French league he is active for Metz Fischer , he also played for Évry Grand Roque , with whom he became French team champion in 2009 . Fedorschuk won the Belgian team championship in 2008 with Vliegend Peerd Bredene and in 2010 with KSK 47 Eynatten . He also played in Belgium for KSK Rochade Eupen-Kelmis . He has also been in Ukrainian (2000 for Mriya Grandmaster School Kiev ), Polish (2005 to 2088 for JKSz MCKiS Jaworzno ), Spanish (2011 for CCA CajaCanarias Santa Cruz and since 2016 for Mérida Patrimonio de la Humanidad ) and Czech (2003 to 2005 for the ŠK Mahrla Prague ) leagues.
