Riss International 806

The International 806 Class is a unit class recognized by the German Sailing Association (DSV) in sailing . The small keel yacht was designed by Pelle Petterson in 1974 and has since been built around 550 times in various shipyards in Denmark and Germany. The boat can be transported with a boat trailer . In regattas, the crew consists of three sailors; outside of races there is enough space for up to four sailors.

distribution

The International 806 is common in Central Europe and Scandinavia . The largest fleet is based on Lake Starnberg and has a strength of over 100 yachts. Most regattas with annual championships also take place at Lake Starnberg .

The Danish Class Association of International 806 announces the International Danish Championship every year.

Furnishing

Below deck there are two saloon bunks and two "dog bunks" (bunks that reach under the cockpit aft ). Therefore, the boat is also suitable for families and small trips . The ship can be powered by an outboard motor if necessary .
