The International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence (IRATDE) is a research association founded in Beijing , China, in 2008 . The official organ of the IRATDE is its newsletter Talent Talks . It also publishes a scientific journal Talent Development and Excellence .

Goals and Membership

The main concern of the IRATDE is the promotion of talent, talent and expertise research . It currently has more than 400 members in over 60 countries. Anyone who has submitted two thematically appropriate scientific papers can become full members. Before this condition is met, one can become an associate member, provided that one is involved in the relevant role (e.g. members of ministries of education, teachers at gifted schools, young scientists ). Admission as an associated or full member requires acceptance by the board.

Scientific congresses

Scientific congresses are held every two years. The first took place in Xi'an , China, in 2009. Further congresses took place among others. a. in Brisbane , Australia; Dubai , United Arab Emirates; and Taipei , Taiwan.
