The International Wielder Trofee Jong Maar Moedig is a Belgian one-day race for cyclists in Gooik ( province of Flemish Brabant ). The race, which was held for the first time in 1985, is held annually at the end of June. It has been part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005 and is classified in category 1.2. Belgian professional continental teams as well as continental teams and regional club or selection teams are thus eligible to start. The route leads over numerous sections that are also known from famous professional classics such as the Tour of Flanders , for example the wall of Geraardsbergen .

When it was founded, the competition was still called the Grand Prix Jerry Blondel, and in 1987 it was renamed the Trophée cycliste international Jerry Blondel. The race has had its current name since 1998. It is organized by the Wielerclub Jong maar Moedig from Oetingen . So far, only three non-Belgian drivers have been able to enter the list of winners. There is still no women’s ranking in the race. Among the former winners there are also drivers who later became better known as professionals, for example Tom Boonen , Peter van Petegem , Thomas De Gendt , Greg Van Avermaet , Stefan van Dijk or the cross-bike rider Sven Nys .
