Interskol ( Russian Интерскол ) is a manufacturer of power tools based in Khimki near Moscow , which is the market leader in the Russian market.
Interskol started in 1998 together with Ischmech with the production of drills , grinding machines , circular saws , jigsaws and cut- off machines . In 2002 the first own plant was built in Bykowo .
The company also sold its products in Ukraine , Belarus , Kazakhstan , Azerbaijan and other CIS countries . According to the industry association RATPE ( Russian РАТПЭ ; Российской ассоциации производителей электроинструмента; Russian Association of Power Tool Manufacturers), Interskol is the Russian market leader in its market segment. In 2009 the Italian Felisatti and in 2010 the Spanish Casals / Freud were taken over. The products are also distributed in Europe and the Middle East . Interskol cooperates with Global Garden Products (GPP) in Italy and Sparky in Bulgaria . In addition to Russia, there is also production abroad. Over 30 engineers are employed in the Group's development department. There are a total of four test laboratories in Russia, China , Italy (GGP for garden tools) and Bulgaria (Sparky for drilling tools). Most recently, the Alabuga plant in Jelabuga was put into operation in mid-October 2014 to increase production.
