Intsika Yethu ( English Intsika Yethu Local Municipality ) is a local community in the Chris Hani district of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa . The seat of the municipal administration is in Cofimvaba . Mayor is Jongumzi Cengani.

The community name is an isiXhosa term for “our pillars” (of trust), it is supposed to symbolize the trust of the population in the community.

In 2011 the community had 145,372 inhabitants. 99.4% of them were black . First language was 94.8% IsiXhosa and 1.4% English.
