Iowa Public Radio (IPR) is the public radio broadcaster of the US state of Iowa . IPR is based in Des Moines , with studios on the ISU campus in Ames , the U of I campus in Iowa City and the UNI campus in Cedar Falls .
IPR oversees the operation of the members of the National Public Radio Network in Iowa, the stations of Iowa State University , the University of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa . As a member of the networks of National Public Radio (NPR), Public Radio International (PRI) and American Public Media (APM), IPR is an integral part of the public radio scene in the USA.
Stations
Iowa Public Radio broadcasts three services. All three medium wave stations from IPR transmit the message format. The connected VHF stations transmit IPR 1 or IPR 2.
