Irene Fleischhauer
Irene Fleischhauer , née Radich (born November 15, 1913 in Berlin ; † March 17, 1998 there ), was a German politician ( SPD ).
Irene Radich attended a secondary school for girls in Berlin and did an apprenticeship as an office clerk . She worked at Telefunken in the pipe factory in Berlin.
After the Second World War , Irene Fleischhauer became a member of the Free German Trade Union Federation (FDGB), later she switched to the Independent Trade Union Opposition (UGO) and the German Employees' Union (DAG). In 1946 she joined the SPD. From 1948 she was works council at Telefunken and from 1951 chairwoman of the works council. In the 1958 Berlin election , Fleischhauer ran for the SPD, but was only able to move up for Theodor Thiele in October 1960 . In 1967 she left parliament. From 1979 to 1981 she was head of the district council assembly in the Tiergarten district .
