Irma Gudžiūnaitė
Irma Gudžiūnaitė (* 1988 in Radviliškis ) is a Lithuanian administrative lawyer and politician , Lithuanian Deputy Minister of Justice (since 2018).
Life
From 1999 to 2005 Gudžiūnaitė graduated from the Radviliškis Music School , the piano class. Since childhood she was a member of the “Sakaliukai” children's organization and worked there from January 2003 to May 2007. After graduating from high school in Radviliškis in 2007, she completed her master's degree in law with a specialization in commercial law at the Faculty of Law at Vilnius University .
In 2012, Gudžiūnaitė attended the NICLAS Legal Summer School on Administrative Law in Slovakia as a student . During her studies she also worked in the USA. From January 2010 to December 2010 she was volunteers in psychological Kinderhilfe - Hotline Vaikų linija ( Childline ). From September 2010 to December 2012 she was a board member of the youth - Round Table organization in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . From May 2011 to May 2012 she was a member of the control commission at Lietuvos jaunimo organizacijų taryba (LiJOT). From March 2014 to June 2014 she worked as a member of the electoral commission in the 2014 presidential elections in Lithuania and in the 2014 European elections in Lithuania .
From January 2011 to May 2011, Gudžiūnaitė did an internship at the Lithuanian Ministry of Justice as a penultimate year student . From September 2011 to September 2014 she worked there as the top specialist in the legal system development department . From September 2014 to May 2018 she was a judicial attaché (in the areas of data protection, consumer rights, private law) in the Lithuanian EU diplomatic mission in Brussels , Belgium . Since June 2018 she has been Deputy Minister of Justice under the leadership of Minister Elvinas Jankevičius in the Skvernelis cabinet . February 2019 she is a candidate for Minister of Environment of Lithuania .
Gudžiūnaitė is a member of the LSDDP party .
Gudžiūnaitė speaks English, Russian and French.
