Irmgard Kootes

Irmgard Kootes (born September 11, 1943 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German stage and television actress .

Live and act

Kootes received her artistic training in the early 1960s at the Folkwang School in Essen and also made her debut at the theater in this city. Further stage engagements took the blonde to Bielefeld , Celle , where she was shown at the Schloßtheater a. a. in Heinrich Mann's Das Garter (December 1965) and Hamburg . Here Kootes landed her first major success in the musical Heimweh nach St. Pauli , in which she was able to prove her singing talent. With the western musical Prairie-Saloon she went on tour at Freddy Quinn's side in 1968. Subsequently, in the early 1970s, she followed a call to the municipal theaters of Frankfurt am Main .

Since 1967, Irmgard Kootes has also been engaged for a number of television games and as a guest in series such as Stahlnetz , Stewardessen , All dogs love Theobald and Detective Agency Roth . There she embodied attractive young women without, however, making a big impression. In 1968 Kootes also worked in the Dutch series De Glazen Stad (The Glass City). Irmgard Kootes also worked for the NDR's school radio . Their track has been lost since the mid-1980s.
