Titus Bunge, owner of an Opel Kapitän '51 with the registration number HH-TB 008, inherits not only a private detective agency from his uncle Timoteus, but also his only employee Lucy Waldvogel and the canary San Felipe. Free of previous criminal knowledge, Bunge is forced to open an old case in order to be able to pay Lucy's outstanding salaries. After successfully closing the case, he has tasted blood and decides to take more cases. His field of investigation ranges from theft to shadowing and jewelery smuggling to child abduction. So it's no wonder that he often clashes with the police.

Reviews
While the series on the crime website is described as "quite entertaining and (...) - in contrast to other pseudo-funny crime series of the 60s - quite successful" , the television dictionary says : "Anyone who expected a solid early-evening crime in view of the detective stories announced was disappointed. Author Mischa Mleinek had written a number of detective novels and radio plays for ten years, but this series was consistently unexciting and silly. " Kino.de judges: " From today's perspective, the crime comedy series from the late 1960s looks very old-fashioned . At that time, however, the mixture of a little suspense, a lot of humor and a lot of silliness convinced the television audience. "
