Heini Göbel

Heini Göbel (actually Heinrich Göbel , also Heinz Goebel , born May 15, 1910 in Frankfurt am Main ; † September 24, 2009 ) was a German actor .

Life

Göbel attended the University of Theater and Music in Frankfurt from 1934 to 1936 and received his first engagements in Gießen , Bremerhaven and Darmstadt . From 1939 to 1948 he was part of the ensemble of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. From 1948 to 1956 he was a member of the Bavarian State Theater and then until 1972 of the Münchner Kammerspiele . Then he worked again at the State Theater, where Kurt Meisel had brought him back. Göbel had his last theater appearance in 1993 in Chekhov's socially critical comedy Der Kirschgarten . For his work he was awarded the title "Bavarian State Actor ". He taught for ten years at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich and also worked as a theater director .

In the fifties and sixties, Göbel was one of the best-known actors in German Heimatfilm and was seen in Das Wirtshaus im Spessart or Marriage forbidden, for example. He was also involved in Bernhard Wicki's war drama Die Brücke (1959). In the television version of The Twelve Jurors , Göbel played the chairman of the jury alongside Mario Adorf and Ernst Fritz Fürbringer . From the 1960s to the 1990s, Göbel was also seen in guest roles in crime series such as Funkstreife Isar 12 with Wilmut Borell and Karl Tischlinger , Der Kommissar , Der Alte , Tatort , Derrick and Ein Fall für Zwei . In addition to the aforementioned, Göbel also made numerous other television appearances. In 1996 he had a guest appearance as macho grandpa in Das Superweib (with Veronica Ferres ). At the age of almost 90, he went on tour with the actor and entertainer Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff .

Heini Göbel died on September 24, 2009 at the age of 99 and was buried in the family grave of the Solln forest cemetery in Munich .
