Hans Daniel (born December 14, 1922 in Flensburg ; † May 8, 2008 in Hamburg ) was a German actor and news anchor .

Life

After finishing school, Daniel first completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk . At the same time he began studying acting. Since 1950 he has played as a theater actor on numerous stages in Hamburg (including the Hamburger Kammerspiele , Theater im Zimmer ) and touring theaters.

In addition, Daniel worked as an actor for film and television. He played alongside Curd Jürgens in Des Teufels General (after Carl Zuckmayer ), alongside Horst Tappert in the crime thriller Perrak , in the films The Stuff of Dreams and And the Rain blurs every trace, as well as in the television film Generale - Anatomie der Marne Battle . He has also made guest appearances on television series such as the crime series Permit, My Name Is Cox ! (next to Günter Pfitzmann ) and the Black Forest Clinic .

But Daniel became known primarily through his work on the radio and as an off-speaker for ARD . In 1947 he began speaking at the NWDR . Since then he has lent his voice to over 25,000 radio and television productions. Between 1953 and April 25, 2000 he worked among other things as an off-speaker for the ARD Tagesschau .

In addition, he lent his voice to synchronization (including Moon Base Alpha 1 ) and radio plays for children and young people such as Commander Perkins , Around the World in 80 Days and The Steel Elephant (based on Jules Verne ), The Three Question Marks , Five Friends and Kung-Fu ( as wise master Yu Kang ).
