Isa (real name Isa Sanna Mattiasdotter Tengblad ; born April 25, 1998 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish singer and songwriter .

life and career

Isa Tengblad grew up in Stockholm's Bromma district with her two brothers. The age of five, she participated in the Swedish TV program Småstjärnorna radio station TV4 part. There she sang the song Crazy in Love by Jill Johnson . As a ten year old she worked on the TV project Talang 2008 . Two years later she was in the selection of the Swedish applicants for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Minsk . Isa released her first single, Bomb , in the summer of 2012 . In the same year she performed with this song on the Swedish TV program Sommarkrysset . Two years later Isa brought out her second single What are we . Isa has also been doing street dance for five years . Here she managed to win the Swedish championship in 2010. Also in 2014 she started a music education in Los Angeles , parallel to her high school education in Rhythmus i Nacka , a school with a musical focus.

Isa took part in the Melodifestivalen 2015 (Swedish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 ) with the song Don't Stop . In the third preliminary round, she moved into the final together with Jon Henrik Fjällgren . There she took seventh place.

In 2016 Isa took part again in the Melodifestival, where she moved into the Andra Chansen with the song I Will Wait .
