Isaak Bader , also Isaak Baader or Isaak Pader , often with the addition of the elder († April 5, 1635 in Munich ) was a German builder and plasterer .

He probably came from Wessobrunn , where his relatives who worked in the building trade were based. Bader has been a master in Munich since 1610, and from 1615 he was involved in stucco work in the Munich Residence and later in the old Schleissheim Palace .

In 1616 he was employed at the Munich court, from 1617 until his death he was master of the court fountain and court mason in the service of the Bavarian duke and later elector Maximilian . Bader was a sought-after appraiser, among others in Würzburg (1627), Polling (1628) and Beuerberg .

He is the builder and probably also the architect of the Sammarei Sanctuary , which rises above the wooden chapel inside. On April 1, 1629, Abbot Michael Kirchberger of Aldersbach Monastery solemnly laid the foundation stone in the presence of Bader, and on April 21/22. On September 1631 the new church was consecrated by the Regensburg auxiliary bishop Otto Heinrich.

From 1629 to 1630 he built the monastery church of Beuerberg Abbey near Wolfratshausen . Bader made the design for the Jesuit church St. Josef in Burghausen, built in 1630 . From 1630 until his death he was construction manager for the choir of St. Peter (Munich) , and around 1634 he worked on the monastery church of Vornbach monastery . He also made the plans for the saltworks chapel, built in 1630/1631 in the Traunstein district of Au.
