Isabel Schosnig
Isabel Schosnig (born May 1972 in Oschatz ) is a German actress .
Life
Schosnig was born in the Saxon district town of Oschatz , but grew up in Leipzig . In 1988 her family left the GDR and settled near Stuttgart . After the reunification and graduation, she returned to Leipzig to take up acting studies at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater , which she graduated in 1998. While still a student, Schosnig made guest appearances at the Schauspiel Leipzig , the Staatsschauspiel Munich and the Deutsches Theater Berlin . Her first engagement followed in 1998 at the Leipziger Schauspielhaus . In 2001 Schosnig moved to the Deutsche Theater Berlin , where she was a permanent member of the ensemble until 2009.
Schosnig has been working freelance for film and television since 2010. In addition, she pursued guest engagements on various stages, including the Zürcher Schauspielhaus , the Staatstheater Dresden , the Stadttheater Klagenfurt and the German Theater Berlin. In addition, Schosnig was repeatedly heard in features and readings on the radio.
