The Ischa ( Russian Иша ) is a right tributary of the Katun in the Altai Republic and the Altai region in southern Western Siberia .

The Ischa rises in the northern Russian Altai between the courses of the two Ob source rivers Katun and Bija . It flows in a westerly direction, passes the small town of Tschoja , then turns to the northwest and after 162 km reaches the right arm of the Katun. The Ischa drains an area of ​​3430 km². The mean discharge (MQ) 15 km above the mouth is 35.7 m³ / s.
