Isfana ( Kyrgyz Исфана ) is a city in the Batken region in the extreme southwest of Kyrgyzstan .
Isfana is located on the southern flank of the Turkestan chain . The population was 18,244 in 2009. Isfana has had city rights since 2001. Isfana is the administrative center of Leilek Rajon .
