Ismāʾīl Salāmī
Ismāʾīl Salāmī (born January 17, 1968 in Tehran ) who also published as Simon Lee , is an Iranian writer , encyclopedia writer , Iranologist and a specialist in the field of the Middle East .
Life
Salāmī's journalistic activity began in 2004 when he was working for the international daily Tehran Times . At the newspaper he first worked as a language editor and later as the general editor. In 2007 he accepted the position of managing director for the website of the Iranian international English language television channel Press TV .
Salāmī writes mostly topical news about the USA and the Middle East. His articles have been printed in international newspapers and magazines and some of them have been translated into other languages. As a lexicographer, he has already completed three volumes of his English-Persian dictionary on political expressions in connection with intelligence and security measures . Salāmī was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD in Shakespeare literature from the University of Tehran . He has published twelve scientific articles in international academic journals. Salāmī has taught English literature as a lecturer at Tehran University, Alzahra University and Allameh Tabatabai University .
Salāmī has sent contributions to the Center for Research on Globalization ( Center for Research on Globalization ) and Veterans Today , headed by Prof. Michel Chossudovsky .
Political positions
In an article published by the Center for Research on Globalization , Ismāʾīl Salāmī draws the conclusion that many of the victims of the Hula Shiite massacre , as well as a large number of women and children, were involved in the involvement of Wahhabis and al-Qaeda members Bloodbath was responsible.
