Ison Mustafoev

Ison Murtasaevitsch Mustafoev (born January 20, 1954 in Qashqadaryo Province ) is an Uzbek diplomat .

Life

In 1976 he graduated from the Moscow Pedagogical Institute as a teacher of German language and literature . From 1976 to 1985 he worked as a teacher at the Tashkent Institute of Foreign Languages. From 1985 to 1987 he worked as a consultant in the Society for Friendship with Foreign Countries. From 1987 to 1989 he worked as an expert in a specialist department in Tashkent.

In 1989 he became the first secretary in the diplomatic service of the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic . In 1992 and 1993 he worked as the deputy head of the department for economic issues and international relations in the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1994 to 1995 he worked as the third secretary at the Uzbek Consulate General in Frankfurt am Main . From 1996 to 1998 he worked as a consultant at the Uzbek embassy in Bonn , Germany . From 1998 to 2001 he held the post of Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan. From 2001 to 2003 he took on the role of Deputy Chairman of the National Security Service of Uzbekistan, until he became his country's ambassador to Germany in 2003, based in the Uzbek Embassy in Berlin .

In 2005 he returned to Uzbekistan and took over the role of Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan. In 2007 he became ambassador to Belgium , Luxembourg and the Netherlands as well as Uzbek head of mission to the European Union and NATO .

Personal

Ison Mustafoev is married and has two children. He speaks Dari , German , English and Russian .
