Iván Codina (born August 24, 1977 ) is a former Spanish ice hockey player who spent his career at FC Barcelona in the Spanish Super League .
Career
Iván Codina spent his career as a hockey player at FC Barcelona , for whose first team he made his debut in the Spanish Super League in the 2001/02 season . In 2002 and 2009 he was able to win the Spanish championship with the club . After winning the second title, he ended his career.
International
In the junior division Codina played for Spain at the U18-B-European championships in 1993 and 1994 and at the U18-C1-European championship in 1995 and at the U20-C1 world championship in 1995 .
With the men's national team , Codina first took part in the D-World Championship in 1999 and, after switching to the current division system, at the World Championships in Division II in 2003 , 2005 , 2006 , 2007 , 2008 , 2009 , when he was voted the best player in his team. He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Vancouver 2010 .
