Ivo Grbić (born January 18, 1996 in Split ) is a Croatian football goalkeeper . He is under contract with Atlético Madrid and is a former Croatian youth player.
Career
society
Ivo Grbić, who trained at Hajduk Split , made his debut in the Croatian first division on April 18, 2015 at the age of 19 in a 2-1 home game against HNK Rijeka . In the following years he did not get beyond the reserve role and was sometimes only used for the reserve team. In the summer of 2018 he moved to the capital Zagreb to NK Lokomotiva , where he became a regular goalkeeper. In his first season he contributed eleven clean sheets to sixth place. In August 2020, Grbic moved to Atlético Madrid and signed a four-year contract.
National team
In 2010 Ivo Grbić played one game for the Croatian U14 national team , and in 2011 two games for the U15 team . A year later he came to a game for the U16 national team , before Grbić had played four times for the U17 national team up to 2013 , including once in the qualification for the U17 European Championship 2013 in Slovakia . In 2013 and 2014 he played in two games for the Croatian team under the age of 18 , until 2015 also for the U19 national team , with two of his eight appearances in qualifying for the 2015 U19 European Championship in Greece . From 2017 to 2019 Ivo Grbić played five times for the Croatian U21 national team .
