Ivan Alexandrowitsch Wyrypajew ( Russian Иван Александрович Вырыпаев ; born August 3, 1974 in Irkutsk , Soviet Union ) is a Russian actor, playwright , director and screenwriter.

Life

Vyrypaev completed his training as an actor in 1995 at the Irkutsk Theater School. He then worked as an actor in the Far East of Russia, once at the Theater for Dramatic Arts in Magadan and then at the Theater for Dramas and Comedies in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on the Kamchatka Peninsula , where he met the director Viktor Ryjakov . After returning to Irkutsk in 1998, he founded his own theater company Espace de jeu (playground). At the same time he studied directing by distance learning in Moscow at the Shchukin Theater School . In the following years he trained actors at the theater in Irkutsk and wrote his first plays. At the first festival for documentary theater in Moscow in 2000, he himself played in his play The Dreams .

In 2001 Vyrypaev left Irkutsk under pressure from the local powerful and went to Moscow, where he participated in the establishment of the theater center teatr.doc , which focuses on new plays with a social background. In the same year, Siberia represented Siberia at the East-West Festival in Die in France . In 2002 he was at the Month of the Russian Theater at the Théâtre de la Cité internationale in Paris as a member of the troupe Moscou sur scène .

His play Kislorod (German: Oxygen), in which Wyrypajew appeared himself, was premiered in Moscow by Viktor Ryjakow in 2003 and has been successfully staged in Germany up to the present day, most recently in 2013 in the Werstatt foyer of the Bonn Theater . In 2005 he directed and wrote the screenplay for his first feature film, Euforija . His second wife, Polina Agureeva, starred in this film.

From his first marriage to the actress Svetlana Iwanowa-Sergeewa, Vyrypaev has a son, Gennady, b. 1994. His second marriage to Polina Agureyeva lasted only 4 years (2003 to 2007). The couple have a son born in 2005. Since 2007, Vyrypaev has been married to the Polish actress Karolina Gruszka , with whom he has a daughter.
