Ján Valach (born August 19, 1973 in Myjava ) is a former Slovak cyclist .

Ján Valach began his career in 1999 with the De Nardi-Pasta Montegrappa cycling team . Before that, he had been Slovak road racing champion twice. He won this title and the time trial again in 2001. He defended his time trial title again in 2002. In the 2003 season, he won the Polish one-day race Coupe des Carpathes . In 2004 he joined the Czech team Ed 'System-ZVVZ . In 2005 he was third in the stage of the Four Days of Dunkirk and also third in Rund um die Nürnberg Altstadt . In 2006 Valach drove for the Austrian Continental Team Aposport Krone Linz . This season he finished third at the second stage of the Tour of Austria and at the GP Bradlo . He also won the overall ranking of the Tchibo Top Cycling League in Austria. From 2007 to 2009 he drove for the Professional Continental Team Elk Haus-Simplon and in 2010 for the Slovak team Dukla Trenčín Merida . In July 2010 he ended his career and became sporting director at Dukla Trenčín Merida.
