János Huszák (born February 5, 1992 ) is a Hungarian athlete who specializes in discus throwing.

Athletic career

János Huszák gained his first international experience at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2009 in Tampere , where he took ninth place with a width of 50.99 m. The following year he was eliminated at the Junior World Championships in Moncton with 52.47 m in qualification and in 2011 he finished seventh at the Junior European Championships in Tallinn with 58.11 m. In 2013 he failed at the U23 European Championships in Tampere with 53.64 m in qualification and in 2015 he was sixth at the Summer Universiade in Gwangju with 58.61 m. In 2016 he took part in the European Championships in Amsterdam for the first time, but was eliminated there with 60.58 m in the qualification. In 2017 he finished sixth at the Studetenweltspiele in Taipei with 59.69 m and in 2019 he failed at the World Championships in Doha with 60.45 m in qualification .

In 2020 Huszák became the Hungarian champion in the discus throw.
