Jérôme Cousin (born June 5, 1989 in Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire ) is a French cyclist .

Career

Jérôme Cousin won the silver medal in the team and in the single pursuit of the junior class at the European Track Cycling Championships in Cottbus in 2007. At the French championship he was first in the junior singles pursuit. The following year he won the silver medal in the single pursuit of the U23 class at the European Championships. He was also successful together with Damien Gaudin at the Trois Jours d'Aigle. At the national championship in 2008 he was French champion in the team pursuit of the elite class and in the single pursuit of the U23 class. In 2009 he was able to defend both titles.

From 2010, Cousin shifted his sporting focus to the street . In the same year he won a stage of the Ronde de l'Isard . In 2012 he won the Tour de Normandie . He won one stage each at the Rhône-Alpes Isère Tour (2012) and at the Étoile de Bessèges (2013). In 2018 he won a stage from Paris – Nice .
