Jérôme Leignadier-Paradon

Jérôme Leignadier-Paradon (born June 8, 1974 ) is a French politician and Internet activist . Together with Thomas Watanabe-Vermorel, he has been on the dual leadership of the Parti Pirate (PP) board since March 2014 .

Life

Leignadier-Paradon attended the École primaire publique Hyacinthe Rigaud (elementary school) in Perpignan from 1980 to 1985 and then the Collège Saint Exupéry until 1990 . He then moved to Lycée Louis Aragon in Givors , where he received the Baccalauréat in micromechanics and the higher technical diploma (Brevet de technicien supérieur (BTS)) microtechnology in 1995 . In Prades then he attended from 1995 to 1997, the Lycée Charles Renouvier . During this time he attended a theater course with Muriel Santini.

From 1997 to 1999 he performed in Nîmes in 6 e escadron de commandement et de quartier général (ECQG) of 6 e régiment de commandement et de soutien (6 e ) voluntary military service . Party career

Leignadier-Paradon has been involved since 2012 as coordinator of the preparations for the establishment of the Regional Section Parti Pirate Rhône-Alpes (PPRA). At the inaugural meeting in September 2013, he was elected chairman of the PPRA. He is also the "captain" of the Lyon pirates. In March 2014, he was elected to the national leadership of the Pirate Party.

Election candidates

In the parliamentary elections in June 2012, Leignadier-Paradon was one of the 101 candidates of his party. He received 0.85 percent (316 of the votes) in his constituency, Département Rhône, in the first round of elections. In the 2014 European elections , he took second place among the South-East Pirates of the European Pirate Party (PPEU). The party did not get the necessary votes to send one of its candidates to the European Parliament .

Leignadier-Paradon is the developer of the website www.sous-surveillance.net , an Internet platform with a nationwide card for "monitoring" surveillance cameras . Internet activists enter public surveillance cameras there in protest against the EU surveillance project INDECT .
