The Jöchelspitze (alternatively also Jöchlspitze ) is a 2226  m high grass summit in the Allgäu Alps .

Location and surroundings

It is the southernmost peak in a side ridge of the main ridge of the Allgäu Alps, which extends from the Hornbachspitze over the Großer Krottenkopf to the south into the Lech Valley . It is a steep grass mountain typical of the Allgäu with a rich flora.

Ascent

Several marked trails lead up the mountain, the easiest way to get there is via the botanical educational trail from the mountain station of the Lechtaler Bergbahn in about 1.5 hours.
