Furniture design

After a 40 year career as an art publisher of graphics, objects and installations, Schellmann began producing furniture objects designed by artists in 2009. Shortly afterwards, his own furniture designs followed, the aesthetics of which are strongly influenced by everyday objects and industry. They also reflect the formal language of minimalism and conceptual art , which both shaped Schellmann's artistic development. Jörg Schellmann's furniture designs are now produced and sold by established furniture companies such as Moroso and e15 .
