Jörg Schieke
Jörg Schieke (born December 28, 1965 in Rostock ) is a German writer , poet.
Life
Jörg Schieke grew up in Stralsund . From 1995 to 1999 he studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig . From 1997 to 1998 Schieke was editor of the literary magazine Edit and from 1998 to 2003 lecturer at Gustav-Kiepenheuer-Verlag . Since then he has lived in Leipzig as a freelance journalist and writer .
Jörg Schieke is the author of short prose and poems . He is a member of the Autonama and received a. a. The Clemens Brentano Prize in 1996 , the Leipzig Literature Scholarship in 1998 and a scholarship from the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony in 2005 .
