Jörn Wemmer (born May 13, 1984 in Chamis Muschait ) is a German football player born in Saudi Arabia and the brother of Jens Wemmer .
Career
Jörn Wemmer played for the Lower Saxony team SpVg Aurich until July 2004 . Then he played for the league club SV Meppen . A year later he moved to VfL Wolfsburg . With the reserve team from VfL Wolfsburg, he made it to the Regionalliga Nord . In 2008 he left the club and went to Bremen for FC Oberneuland . In July 2009 he moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue in the 3rd division. After he only played in the reserve team in the league at first, he got his first professional appearances as a substitute towards the end of the season. In 2010 he was promoted to the second Bundesliga with the club, where he made seven appearances.
After his contract expired in the summer of 2011, he initially remained without a club. He completed a trial training session at FC Carl Zeiss Jena in August 2011 , before signing a contract with the regional league team Berliner AK 07 in October of the same year .
In the summer of 2012 he joined the Berlin top division club BFC Dynamo , where he played for a year and a half. After starting training with the Berlin police, Wemmer terminated his contract in October 2013 and joined the Brandenburg state league club SV Schwarz-Rot Neustadt (Dosse) . With the club he was promoted to the Brandenburgliga in 2015 . A season later, Wemmer joined the league competitor TSG Einheit Bernau . For Neustadt Wemmer completed 55 league games in which he scored 16 goals.
Jörn Wemmer won the European title with the German national police team in 2014.
