Mirecourt Jewish Community

A Jewish Community in Mirecourt in the Vosges department in the French region of Lorraine was at least since the 18th century.

history

At the beginning of the 19th century the Jewish community had between 80 and 90 members. A rented house was used as a synagogue and today there are still remains of the Torah shrine and the women's gallery.

The dead of the community were buried in the Jewish cemetery of Serqueux in the Haute-Marne department .
