Rambervillers Jewish community

A Jewish Community in Rambervillers in the Vosges department in the French region of Lorraine existed since the 19th century, the Jews had a significant role in the development of the textile industry.

history

As early as 1866, the Jews from Bruyères , which is 19 kilometers away, visited the synagogue in Rambervillers. This synagogue must have existed some time before.

The Jewish cemetery in Rambervillers is right next to the communal cemetery.
