The Jewish cemetery Belle is Belle , a town in the municipality Horn-Bad Meinberg in Lippe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The Jewish cemetery is registered with the number 03.6 as an architectural monument in the list of monuments of the municipality of Horn-Bad Meinberg.

The Jewish cemetery in Belle

The Jewish cemetery is on Pyrmonter Strasse , opposite the confluence with Molkenberg Street . The 129 m² cemetery was privately owned by the Jewish Klarenmeyer family. In the cemetery, which was occupied from 1793 to 1927, 13 tombstones ( mazewot ) are still preserved today.

Three members of the Klarenmeyer family were able to emigrate before and during the time of National Socialism , two members of the family were killed in concentration camps .
