Jewish cemetery (Beverungen)
The Beverungen Jewish cemetery is located in the town of Beverungen in the Höxter district in North Rhine-Westphalia . As a Jewish cemetery , it is an architectural monument .
200 tombstones have been preserved in the cemetery at Dalhauser Strasse / B 241 .
history
The cemetery was probably occupied from before 1730 to 1961. It was expanded in 1862, 1864 and 1870, and downsized again in 1884 and 1887. In 1924 the cemetery was desecrated.
