Jöhlingen Jewish cemetery
The Jewish cemetery Jöhlingen is a Jewish cemetery in Jöhlingen , a district of the Municipality Walzbachtal in the district of Karlsruhe in northern Baden-Württemberg . The cemetery is a protected cultural monument .
The dead of the Jöhlingen Jewish community were initially buried in the Obergrombach Jewish cemetery . In 1888 a separate cemetery was built, which is located near the railway line on the road to Wössingen . The Jewish cemetery has an area of 12.47 acres and 46 tombstones remain today. The last burial took place in 1936.
