The Bretten Jewish Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Bretten , a town in the Karlsruhe district in northern Baden-Württemberg . The cemetery is a protected cultural monument .

The dead of the Jewish community in Bretten were first buried in the Jewish cemetery in Waibstadt . In 1883 a separate cemetery was built, which is located on today's Windstegweg. The Jewish cemetery has an area of ​​11.18 acres and 146 tombstones remain today. The last burial took place in 1949.

Some of the tombstones from the late 19th century come from the workshop of the Bretten sculptor Ludwig Christof Meffle.
