Thalfang Jewish cemetery

The Thalfang Jewish cemetery is a cemetery in the Thalfang parish in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It stands as a cultural monument under monument protection .

The Jewish cemetery is located on the eastern outskirts on Koblenzer Straße / B 327 .

Eight tombstones have been preserved in the 600 m² cemetery, which is surrounded by a hedge and was laid out before 1730 and occupied until 1940 . In 1938 the cemetery was partially destroyed. A memorial stone from 1991 bears the inscription: “To remember the Jewish fellow citizens, to us living a reminder. The municipality of Thalfang "
