Jürgen Ißleb (* May 8, 1940 - October 4, 2012 ) was a soccer goalkeeper in GDR soccer . For Lok Stendal , he played in the GDR Oberliga , the top division of the GDR Football Association .

After Ißleb had previously played with Einheit Burg and then with the juniors of SC Aufbau Magdeburg , at the beginning of the 1958 season he was included in the first men's team of SC Aufbau as the third goalkeeper behind Hans-Georg Michalak and Karl-Heinz Knobbe . The Magdeburg Club, the football center of the GDR district of Magdeburg , was playing in the second-rate GDR league at that time , and the 18-year-old Ißleb was used in three point games in his first men's season. In the 1959 season, the Magdeburg team made it to the GDR league, but Ißleb was only involved with a short-term assignment on the penultimate game day. For the top league season in 1960, SC Aufbau Magdeburg no longer planned with Ißleb, but with Wolfgang Blochwitz and Hans-Georg Moldenhauer, two younger goalkeepers were added to the squad.

Ißleb was handed over to the district rival Lok Stendal, but was also only number three behind Werner Bergner and Horst Falke . Ißleb also rose to the top league with the Stendalers , but again only had a small share in it in 1960 with only one mission. The following league season was held over 39 rounds in 1961/62, as the calendar year was switched to the summer-spring rhythm. After Horst Falke was eliminated, Ißleb moved up to the second goalkeeper, but only represented regular goalkeeper Bergner in eight league games. Newcomer to the league, Lok Stendal, failed to assert himself in the elite league and was relegated immediately after one season. In the GDR league season 1962/63 Ißleb managed to overtake Bergner (10) with 16 appearances, he was the first goalkeeper in his career in a first men's team. He defended this status in his second league season 1963/64 with 20 league appearances, but lost it again in the 1964/65 season when Hans Zeppmeisel, who had come from Turbine Magdeburg , narrowly overtook Ißleb with 13 league games, who made 12 appearances. In 1965/66, coach Martin Schwendler used Zeppmeisel from the start, Ißleb was only used on the 10th and 13th matchdays.

The encounter between Lok Stendal and 1. FC Magdeburg (2-0) on December 11, 1965 was Ißleb's last league game in the league. Between 1958 and 1965 he played 63 point games, 42 of them in the GDR league. He was active in the GDR league until 1977.
