Jürgen Karg
Jürgen Karg (* 1942 ) is a German musician ( double bass , synthesizer , composition ) and sound artist .

Karg, who studied music at the Hochschule für Musik Saar and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln , was a solo bassist with a teaching position at the Saarbrücken City Theater from 1964 to 67 , met Wolfgang Dauner at a jazz competition in Vienna , and then switched to a position as an orchestral musician in 1968 at the Süddeutscher Rundfunk in Stuttgart. Between 1967 and 1969 he occasionally played as bassist in Wolfgang Dauner's group, with whom he recorded three albums. In 1969 there were improvisations with Walter Malli and Anestis Logothetis in Vienna. In the 1970s he worked very intensively on the sound possibilities of synthesizers in his own studio. In 1978 he released the album Electronic Myths on the Mood Records label . From 1980 he dealt with stereoscopic photography. In 1984/85 Karg presented his 3D show Stereophonie-Stereoskopie in the Künstlerhaus Stuttgart .
