Jürgen Keck

Jürgen Keck (born July 28, 1961 in Radolfzell on Lake Constance ) is a German politician ( FDP ). He is a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament in the 16th electoral period (2016–2021).

Life

Jürgen Keck was born in Radolfzell-Böhringen, is married and has two children. After successfully completing an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, he was head of logistics at a medium-sized company for almost 30 years.

politics

Keck has been involved in local politics since 1994. In 1994 he was elected to the local council of Radolfzell-Böhringen. Since 2004 he has been a member of the Radolfzell municipal council, in which he has been chairman of the FDP parliamentary group since 2009. In 2004 he also became a member of the district council of the district of Konstanz and worked in the social committee and in the district youth welfare as well as as an advisory board in the job center. Keck has been an active member of the Hochrhein-Bodensee regional association since 2009 and has also been the leader of the FDP parliamentary group there since 2014.

In the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2016, Keck received 9.1 percent for the FDP in the state constituency of Constance . With a second mandate , he was able to move into the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg. There he is a member of the Committee on Social Affairs and Integration, the Transport Committee, the Petitions and Election Review Committee. He is also a member of the Upper Rhine Council.
