Jürgen Schrötteringk (senior age, 1622)

Jürgen Schrötteringk (born June 4, 1622 in Hamburg ; † January 10, 1670 there ) was a German businessman and Hamburg senior citizen .

Origin and family

Schrötteringk was a son of Oberalten Diederich Schrötteringk (1597-1678) from his marriage to Barbara Timm († 1640).

On February 4, 1650 he married Anna Catharina von dem Cräntzen and had five children with her.

Live and act

Schrötteringk established himself as a businessman and administered various civil offices in Hamburg. In 1652 he was elected to the cattle accise , in 1654 to the war commissioner , 1655 to the Weinaccise, 1656 to the fortification and in 1657 as a civil judge to the lower court .

On January 11, 1669 Schrötteringk was, for the Senator elected Albert Wulff , († 1698) for Oberaltenburg in the parish of St. Catherine's elected. But he died a year later. Diederich Schelhammer (1617–1690) succeeded him as senior senior.
