Jürgen Tancer (born April 26, 1951 ) is a former German soccer player .

The striker played from 1973 in the last year of the old second-rate Regionalliga West for Eintracht Gelsenkirchen , where he could not prevent Gelsenkirchen's relegation with three goals in 14 missions in the 1973/74 season . After moving to 1. FC Bocholt in the summer of 1975, he made a significant contribution to winning the Lower Rhine Championship in 1976 with his 14 goals this season . With the team around Erwin Maslowski , Jan Roeloffzen and storm colleague Günter Pangerl , however, he narrowly failed in the following round of promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga and only because of the goal difference at Bonner SC and VfL Wolfsburg . In the association league season 1976/77 he scored 18 goals and celebrated promotion to the second division north with the club in the second attempt . In the promotion round, the Schwatten vom Hünting prevailed against SVA Gütersloh and Spandauer SV . After a brief guest appearance in 1978 at SuS Oberhausen-Sterkrade , Tänzer returned to 1. FC Bocholt in 1979 and, with his 15 goals this season, again played an important role in the 1980 league championship and promotion to the second division. Since after the 1980/81 season, however, the single-track second division was introduced, the chances of relegation were slim and the club immediately rose again.

Jürgen Tänzer played a total of 44 games in the 2nd Bundesliga and scored 11 goals.
