Jędrzej Kasperczyk (born May 20, 1968 in Katowice ) is a German - Polish ice hockey player who plays on the position of the striker . Since 2011 he has been under contract with the upper division Icefighters Leipzig . In the top German league he was active for the EC Hedos Munich , the Kassel Huskies and the Wedemark Scorpions .
Career
Jędrzej Kasperczyk began his career in 1986 in the Polish Ekstraliga with Naprzód Janów , where he played for three years. He then moved to Germany in the 2nd North League for the ECD Sauerland . During the following season Kasperczyk left Iserlohn to play for EC Hedos Munich from the 1st Bundesliga , where he stayed until the end of the 1991/92 season. Next, the second-class EC Hannover was Kasperczyk's new sporting home for a season before he changed clubs within the league to hunt goals for the Kassel Huskies . The season was very successful and so he rose with the runner-up Kassel in the newly founded German ice hockey league , where he put on the skates for two more years for the huskies.
In 1996 he moved within the DEL to ESC Wedemark , which he left after 13 game days in the direction of the 1st League North, where he spent the rest of the season at EHC Neuwied . With the team Kasperczyk won the championship of the second-class 1st league and the DEB League Cup. He spent the following two and a half seasons in the same league at GEC Nordhorn until the latter ceased playing due to an application for bankruptcy . Kasperczyk played the season at the league competitor Hamburg Crocodiles to the end and belonged to the REV Bremerhaven for the next two years , with which he won the 2nd Bundesliga championship in 2002 . He spent a last year in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2002/03 season with the Tölzer Löwen , before playing the two following seasons for the Dresdner Eislöwen from the Oberliga , with which he won the championship in 2005 . The 2005/06 season started Kasperczyk at GKS Tychy in Poland, but returned to Germany after just six games. He then belonged to the squad of ESC Halle 04 for six years , for which he played in the major and regional leagues during this period .
For the 2011/12 season, Kasperczyk moved to the Icefighters Leipzig within the major league .
